Three light bulbs burnt out in my first week and a half here in this apartment. No big deal, I thought, after the first one.  I just feel... really, strangely happy today! Bad and/or annoying and/or alarming stuff did happen today, but I still came out feeling really great!

First of all, it was a rainy and cloudy day. This dreary weather didn't really deter me: we don't get much rain around here (or, at least, not as much as I'd like to have), so it's always a novelty. ( Read more... )
